SUMMARY:Faeth Therapeutics Virtual KOL Event: Multi-Nodal Inhibition for the Treatment of Endometrial Cancer
DESCRIPTION:Join Faeth Therapeutics for a virtual key opinion leader (KOL) event featuring Marcus Goncalves\, MD\, PhD (NYU Langone Health & Scientific Co-founder\, Faeth Therapeutics)\, who will join company management to discuss the PAM (PI3K/AKT/mTOR) pathway in human cancer and the company’s upcoming Phase 2 readout in endometrial cancer. \nThe event will provide an overview of the PAM pathway\, a critical signaling network that regulates cell growth\, survival\, and metabolism\, and one of the most frequently altered oncogenic signaling pathways in human cancer. Management will compare single-node inhibition with Faeth’s vertical multi-node approach\, called PIKTOR\, a therapeutic combination of the PI3K inhibitor serabelisib and mTOR inhibitor sapanisertib. During the call\, management will highlight recently-presented translational work which led to the dose and schedule of PIKTOR currently being evaluated in its Phase 2 trial as well as clinical data from a prior Phase 1b trial. Management will also highlight the unmet need for novel therapies in endometrial cancer\, where approximately 80% of tumors harbor a PAM pathway alteration\, and treatment options following checkpoint inhibitor therapy remain limited.
