About The Event
Join GENFIT for a virtual key opinion leader (KOL) event featuring Vlad Ratziu, MD, PhD (Sorbonne University, Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital, Institute for Cardiometabolism and Nutrition, Paris).
As the MASLD/MASH landscape continues to evolve and new treatment options become available, it is becoming increasingly clear that one of the next major challenges for the field will be identifying patients at risk earlier, and at scale, while ensuring they can be appropriately monitored over time.
NASHnext® is a diagnostic test developed and commercialized by Labcorp as a laboratory developed test (LDT) under license from GENFIT. Based on GENFIT’s technology, it uniquely captures both disease activity and fibrotic burden, helping identify at-risk MASH patients and supporting more informed clinical decision-making. Medicare reimbursement under the Clinical Laboratory Fee Schedule became effective on August 10, 2026, marking an important milestone that may support broader adoption and future coverage by private insurers.
GENFIT’s NIS4 and new generation NIS2+ technologies have been recognized by leading experts in the United States and Europe (NIMBLE and LITMUS). NIS2+ is included in the EASL-EASD-EASO Clinical Practice Guidelines.
Dr. Ratziu will discuss the clinical utility of the technology, while company management will provide perspectives on market opportunities, revenue potential, and GENFIT’s in vitro diagnostic (IVD) development strategy.
A live question-and-answer session will follow the formal presentations.
